Brian Hodgers State Representative Brian Hodgers was elected in a June 2025 special election to represent Florida House District 32. A lifelong Floridian, Brian is a small business owner, entrepreneur, and licensed insurance professional with decades of experience helping Florida families and businesses protect what matters most. Before serving in the Legislature, Brian built and operated two successful insurance agencies and a real estate brokerage. His extensive industry experience has been complemented by service on the Citizens Property Insurance Market Accountability Advisory Board, the Brevard County Planning and Zoning Board, the Brevard County Marine Advisory Board, and leadership roles with the Melbourne Regional Chamber, Brevard Chamber, Florida Association of Insurance Agents, and Florida Realtors. During his first legislative session, Brian successfully passed legislation focused on improving affordability and strengthening Florida's insurance workforce. A pilot and strong advocate for Florida's aerospace industry, Brian and his wife, Susan, are proud parents of four children and enjoy spending time outdoors throughout Brevard County. Representative Hodgers is currently the only member of the Florida House of Representatives who works in the insurance industry, bringing a unique real-world perspective to insurance, and he is working tirelessly to change that by encouraging more insurance professionals to serve in public office. |
