The Florida Association of Health Plans, Inc. (FAHP) is pleased to announce its 2024 Annual Conference in Orlando, Fla., December 2 through December 4.

As conference attendees have come to expect, the CONNECT conference will bring together a distinguished group of industry professionals, community partners, elected officials and regulators, as well as exciting keynote speakers, to engage and share information and insight on ways to improve health outcomes and overall well-being. 

This year’s conference will feature another NFL Hall-of-Fame keynoter as well as host a number of engaging and informative panels, including: 

  • Legislative dialogue with notable policymakers  
  • Update on the Florida insurance marketplace 
  • Health plan CEO panel
  • Regulatory briefing from the Agency for Health Care Administration 

In addition to these panels, FAHP is pleased to also highlight the following topics during the conference:

  • Artificial Intelligence (AI) subject-matter experts to address an ever-evolving world where health care security is paramount
  • CMO/PharmD discussion that will focus on revolutionary and top-of-mind subjects, including the proliferation of Glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1) medications, diabetes management and the introduction of FDA-approved cell-based gene therapies
  • Federally qualified health centers panel to address how to best serve medically underserved areas and populations
  • Food insecurity presentations by Feeding Tampa Bay and others, along with an activation to benefit a local food bank
  • Charity golf event to support a few local children’s health organizations   
  • Sponsor presentations and exhibitor conversations featuring products and solutions to assist health plans deliver quality care to their members.

Beyond this, in 2024, FAHP will highlight how, collectively, the industry is redoubling its efforts to demonstrate the value managed care delivers to the state of Florida and health plan members. From showcasing real-life stories told by Floridians about the quality care they receive from their health plans to highlighting enlightening data on the value proposition health plans deliver to the state, FAHP is committed to elevating the managed care industry through innovative storytelling.
